Excellent restraunt at the Viking House. Small but carefully selected menu, and an impressively curated wine list.

Recently taken over by a fantastic Swedish lady and her husband. The former also runs a luxury catering business in London which explains her five star approach to hospitality at the Viking House hotel. She and her staff could not have been more friendly or more accommodating. And, the breakfasts are suberb!

Viking Hotel is such a hidden gem in Donegal. The hotel is incredibly comfortable, private, and located in a truly privileged area, with beautiful crystal-clear beaches within walking distance. The food was absolutely spectacular, we ended up having lunch there and dining there every single night because every dish was so delicious and well prepared. The owners are extremely friendly, and the entire staff made us feel so welcome and well looked after throughout our stay. It has that perfect boutique hotel atmosphere: cozy, peaceful, and high quality at the same time. We would definitely love to come back.

Food was lovely as was the staff and the views were amazing meet at the door by the New owner who's fater taught me at National school over 40years ago was nice catching up Barry all the very best with the business sound people worth calling in folks highly Recommend

My wife, 2 children and I enjoyed a delightful stay in Viking House earlier this month. It was one of the most inviting, warm and friendly places we have ever stayed. The views from the hotel were breathtaking with plenty of stunning walks straight from the hotel lobby. Having recently taken on new ownership it's clear that every effort is being made to give visitors a memorable experience. The food was fantastic and we sampled every item on the menu; they were all delicious as was the breakfasts. The vibe in the bar every evening was quintisentially Irish and didn't disappoint. We look forward to going back as we were made to feel very at home in this charming hotel.
