If you're looking for a goth/alt bar in the heart of Dublin this is the place to go to. Great atmosphere and lovely and friendly staff.

Our AirBNB was on top of this bar. Cool bar with lots of cool nerd culture art and great bar staff. Not as crowded as other Temple Bar spots but close enough to walk to the crowded areas too.

Cool place, always a bit too crowded and sitting might be a bit uncomfortable, but it’s good.

Such a gem of a pub! Quirky and chill in the best way.

This is our first time in Dublin, and we were really keen to try something new. We found this pub through Google and Reddit. A beer cost just under €7.50 for 0.5L, which I think is extremely fair. One thing that gets a bit lost is the payment process. You order, the card reader is placed in front of you, and you don't really know how much you're paying for. You can ask, but when the music gets a bit loud, it's easy to drown it out. But that's a minor point, because the beer is excellent, not too bitter, and has exactly what you'd want. The staff was very quick but still friendly. Both the upstairs and downstairs areas were clean, and the atmosphere was fantastic! This is a place we'd happily come back to.
