Visited the Chester Beaty library today and stumbled upon the hidden cafe called the Silk Road cafe. Couldn’t resist the food in there. Had the Palestinian chicken which is a chicken on the bone in a lemony spice called sumac with red onions. The dish is accompanied by 3 sides and you have choices of hot or called. I had some of their delicious and fresh salad. And of course had to have a sweet treat. They have a huge selection of freshly home baked cakes. Ended the meal with a nice coffee made by a great barista and was served by a smile. The experience was amazing. Service was great and food was amazing. Can’t wait for my next visit.

A lovely lil lunch spot hidden in dublin city located at chester beatty. Good food, great service, staffs were very friendly and helpful, They explained everything very well and the price was reasonable. They have a lot of food options from main course to dessert including vegetarian and gluten free. I ordered the stuffed aubergine with the sides of rice/salad. A very nice art of latte and delicious cake for my end meal. I will definitely come back to this one of the amazing middle eastern restaurant called SILKROAD CAFE. :)

Was here, Friday afternoon with a friend visiting the Chester Beatty and decided on lunch. My friend chose falafel and I chose a chicken dish. We both remarked on the salads that accompanied our main dish which were vibrant in colour, and delicious to eat. Service was excellent, calm, friendly and attentive. Huge pot of tea! Would go out of the way to cone back. Thoroughly recommend.

This bistro and cafe is the perfect spot to take a break and recharge while exploring the sights of Dublin. They have a delightful selection of hot and cold plates, bowls, desserts, and drinks to choose from.
Whether you prefer to sit outside or inside, you'll find a comfortable spot to enjoy your meal. Plus, the service is quick and efficient.

Wow, nothing like this venue. Maybe hard to find as it’s in Chester Beaty library, which is located in Dublin Castle beside the garden. No buffet July and August. Water in tap, mini bottles of wine €7.10, plenty of other drinks. Coffee a decent cup. Something for everyone. Large portions

I never leave reviews but this was the best food I've ever had. Friendly staff too, and all of this in a lovely free museum. If you're in Dublin this is a must!

We had our brunch here and good thing there’s one filipino guy (kuya) who suggested some set meal. I love the chicken set with vegetables and served with 2 salads. The ambience is really great and quiet. They set meals has big portions which good for 2 persons already.
