Castleknock Hotel in Dublin

Castleknock Hotel is one of my favourite places to come for dinner. The atmosphere is lovely, the seating area is beautiful, and it’s the only place where I never feel rushed to leave. I come here all the time but have never written a review before.Today, I was served by Leah, and the service was absolutely impeccable. She was so sweet, cheerful, and genuinely made my day so much better. She genuinely made our time so much better!

Stunning hotel, feels very luxurious for a very decent price. We stayed for two nights on a trip to Dublin from the UK - we hired a car so it was easy to get to the hotel from the airport and from the hotel to the city. Our room was great and the included breakfast had lots of choice. We stayed during a heatwave and we really missed not having AC in the room, that would’ve made the stay much more comfortable. The hotel has a bar, restaurant, cafe and feels so spacious and clean. The staff were nice and things like room service etc were well managed. We used the pool area briefly on our first night, it was okay but in my opinion it could definitely do with some modernisation, updating and maintenance. I probably wouldn’t choose this hotel if I was looking for a true spa hotel experience but we absolutely would return for a luxury feel stay if ever visiting Dublin again.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is friendly. The in house restaurant is good, full of natural light and space. However my only real complaint is that there not air conditioning in all the rooms. You have to ask for it and it's an extra cost to have air conditioning in your room. Over all, not a bad hotel and would definitely recommend it.

Such a lovely weekend staying here, brilliant staff. Beautiful and spacious rooms. Delicious food and drink.

An average, outdated Irish hotel. Room was large, but outdated with multiple signs of wear. My TV also did not work. The bed was comfortable. Pool are was very disappointing. Very cold water. Again, very old pool with signs of wear and dirty. It needs a very deep clean, or upgrade. Wasn’t the relaxing swim I hoped for. Breakfast was standard Irish hotel breakfast. Fine, nothing special. Free amble parking was great. Wouldn’t be rushing back or recommending to a friend. It simply served a purpose for one night only.
