In the age of karaoke,backing tracks,drum machines and auto tune, what a pleasure to hear the Sarah May Rogers band on Sunday evening. Real musicians playing real instruments. I believe they are back at the end of September. Great venue for a great band.

A great pub with subtlety, character & heritage, plus a good stout. It stands out from the other bars in the area. It's just a shame a small minority have blatant disregard for the vaping prohibited signage. Cloudy bar so we sit in the lounge.

Realy relaxing atmosphere. staff were abousility verry polite and friendly. drinks were verry affordable the toilets were spotless overall I'd highly recommend a visit to this pub

Great pint of Guinness and used to be my local, always drop in for a pint of plain and watch The scouse army on a weekend when im back over. Lovely friendly staff too.

14/08/2025: Just a comment for the waitress Nur: so rude. The food Is not so good and the prices are pretty expensive, but the shows Is Amazing. If all this must be ruined by a person It becomes a pretty bad experience.
