Hidden gem. Tucked just off the main street, well worth a visit. Popped in for a quick breakfast and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the coffee. Coffee will please even a coffee snob, clearly made by knowledgable staff. Food was stunning, beautiful presentation but most importantly delicious. Highly recommend the eggs Benedict, the croissant fits the dish really well. I found the pickled apple salad divine, crisp, fresh and tangy not too sour just right. Truly recommend popping in to try for yourself .

What stands out most about Fig is the exceptional service. The staff are very attentive and professional, nothing is too much trouble for them. A lovely menu with lots of vegetarian options. I’ll be back!

Great staff, menu is varied and delicious. Portions are generous. The biggest compliment I could pay The Fig is that I recommended it to 4 clients in the last week and all raved about the service, attention to detail and friendliness. (For context they were all from the US so were grateful of a friendly recommendation that they can rely on now that they live here) That’s how it should be done.

Called in for Brunch on a cold and frosty January morning . There’s a really nice buzz about the place and the staff seated us immediately with a smile and a choice of where to sit. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. I went for the Shakshouka and my wife went for the French Toast, both dishes were excellent with generous servings. Coffee was great as was the freshly squeezed orange juice. Place was getting very busy as we left but a great atmosphere which the friendly and efficient staff really contribute to. Dishes were a few euro more expensive than other places but worth the difference for quality, location and service. All in all, a great place and we will be back.

allta

07/09/2025: Exceptional food & service. Great atmosphere too. Such a fantastic tasting menu- already looking forward to planning our next visit!
11/08/2025: Allta is my fave spot to dine in Dublin. I visited the place so many times over the years and it never disappoints! The creativity of Niall - owner and head chef is beyond anything! And it’s not only food which is excellent! Always made with care to ingredients and season. With attention to the smallest detail. Flavours combinations are very often bold and excellent in contrast to so many places which are quite plain. We dined with allta at home during covid, in Slane Castle, in the parking, in their permanent venue in Docklands and in Casteruddery farm and enjoyed the experience every single time. And most of all you see love to hospitality and work in every single member of staff. Knowledgable, inspiring and passionate sommeliers, waiters, chefs. Always a pleasure to visit them!
