This place serves halal meat. Fresh Middle Eastern food. There are various options to choose from. The pita was soft and warm perfect to use to pick up the food with.

I live at walking distance from the Cheeky Pea. I saw their opening 12 years ago. But only today my hubby and I tried their food. We were completely blown away by the tasty food, FRESHNESS (OMG! Where do we find really fresh food these days?), and very affordable prices. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We will become familiar faces at The Cheeky Pea from now on!

We’ve only been twice here because we normally eat their pitas and falafels at the Kew farmers market, but the food is just as great if not even better. The sauces are soo good. And the deserts are definitely worth trying too. Staff is also super friendly. Happy to come back!

I really like this place and will continue to come back as the food is vegan friendly, nutritious and one of the few places in Kingston that isn’t a chain. I just wish the hummus tasted more flavourful. It is always pretty bland, it’s healthy and a perfect texture but the taste isn’t there. For the star product, I think it should taste like the star! I also wish it was open for longer!! It’s always closed when I am able to go. I would also like to add that the staff have been wonderful every time I have come here

Best vegan chicken wrap I think I’ve ever had!

We ordered fully vegan catering for a work event with almost 30 people and couldn’t be happier. The falafel and vegan chicken were delicious, and the wide range of salads was a big hit too. Delivery was seamless, with everything arriving exactly on time. Communication with the business was very easy and they were super responsive, including spending time with me on the phone to explain what serving spoons will be required (we wanted to provide our own). 100% satisfaction, we’ll definitely be ordering again!
