Their homemade/natural image does lose some credibility when the first step in the assembly line is stripping a plastic wrapper from a processed tortilla and putting it in a microwave.. falafel & houmous were great though and this spot could be excellent

The Cheeky Pea provided an outstanding buffet lunch for 120 people at our big family event last weekend and the food was absolutely outstanding- pittas, dips, salads and chips- everyone loved it. They provided fantastic service in the lead up, checking in with us to ensure we knew they had everything ready for the big day. What a fantastic café run by a delightful couple!

I have recently found this place and its a gem. I think I was served by one of the owners today and she was wonderful, the young people they have working there are very polite and helpful. Their Falafel is lovely, as is their Moroccan meatballs delicious, but for me, the star of the show is their sabich pitta. Aubergine, egg, mango pickle, salad, with a spicy green Yemeni sauce and some hummus, in some nice fresh spongy pitta. Their fried cauliflower was also lovely, fresh with a little lemon and tahini sauce and a nice alternative to chip. (Although their chips are good!) Cleanliness is very high and you can see they have a very high turn over on their fresh salads and fillings. For years I have been going to Kingston Market and some of their food stalls there, but I have found my new favourite snack place. Its also nice to be able to sit in indoors and have access to a clean bathroom.

This is my favourite place to eat in Kingston. The food is so fresh, authentic and tasty. The staff are always so friendly and cheery. For all you houmous lovers out there, this place has the BEST homemade houmous I have ever tasted. The homemade pickled turnip is also a must so be sure to look out for those. I have food allergies and always feel so safe eating here. There are also delicious homemade vegan cakes available to eat in or take away, which is wonderful as I have many family members who can’t have dairy so treating them to yummy cakes is nice and cheers them up. You can really taste the love and dedication that’s put into every single dish on the menu.

A great stop for our lunch today. We ordered a falafel pita pocket with halloumi and a vegan chicken hummus bowl. Everything was delicious and or food was ready promptly. We obviously arrived after several tables had just left so they hadn't been cleared yet but we were able to find a spot to sit. There's a small selection of items you can purchase to take home, such as tahini and canned chickpeas.

A hidden Gem of an Eatery, great vegan options and some gluten-free. Staff were nice, efficient and polite. Food was tasty, humus yummy!

A lovely spot for vegan feast. Free WiFi, lovely atmosphere, top service, reasonable prices, and the food is amazing. I had the vegan chicken in a wrap with chunky chips and a coffee.

Amazing food!! I absolutely love this place - I mostly get my food to go in take away containers and it works so well. The food is always good- fresh and tasty!! I have introduced friends and family to this place and they also love it!! The people there are also so friendly and kind. I could not recommend this place enough! The founders Tal and Shay are the nicest people ever!! I did an order for my birthday to take out to the Cotswolds and it was a hit with all my guests and Tal snuck in the most delightful chocolate babka! Honestly love this place!
