Chekhov's Cafe in Navan (an uaimh)

Terrific cafe. The likes of which other cafes should learn from. Everything well considered. Coffee is Bell Lane and very well made Americanos. Lunch selection is very good and specials are always even better. Had the breakfast burrito special with paprika fries. It was so good. Everything reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Hubby had breakfast and we both had lunch today on a visit to Navan today... we also had a coffee in between and all 3 were absolutely gorgeous.... piping hot fresh breakfast... Danny says white pudding was to die for.... The coffee I had was absolutely sublime... gorgeous coffee.... and the omelette and sweet potatoes fries and dannys toasted special exceeded expectations too.... service was excellent and food couldn't have been better.... also got some sexy protein bites on the way out.... Highly Recommend.... well worth a visit.

Very nice place, great atmosphere. You have to wait for a table, but it's worth it. The order is taken while you wait and made like that, but it came to the table fresh and hot. Prices are very affordable, the service is very nice, the food is delicious and the coffee is great! I definitely recommend it! We will be back!

Just delicious! Thank you for that delicious meal! I wasn’t sure if I will be full after salad, but that was one of the best salads I have ever had! Goat cheese salad, if you will be there, just try it! Portion was also huge, perfect lunch or dinner option.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Roundhouse Kick of Energy and Charm! Chekhov's Karate Dojo in Navan is not your average martial arts gym—it’s a place where discipline meets delightful surprises. I came for the karate but stayed for the atmosphere (and the Haribo). From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place runs on more than just black belt spirit—it runs on solar panels, which power not only the lights but apparently the good vibes too. It's eco-conscious and high-kicking! During breaks, students gather around to refuel with Haribo Starmix jellys—yes, really. It sounds strange, but popping a gummy bear mid-session somehow feels completely right here. And if you're lucky, there’s a cold Dr Pepper waiting in the mini-fridge to wash it all down. Karate and cola? Surprisingly harmonious. Instructors are top-notch—firm but encouraging—and Chekhov himself (yes, that's his real name!) brings a calm intensity that makes you want to perfect your kata and recycle properly at the same time. Whether you're an aspiring martial artist or just want to practice side kicks while sipping a fizzy drink, this place is worth checking out. Just don’t eat too many jelly rings before sparring.

Whenever I get breakfast downtown this is my go to place. Food and service are always fantastic and the coffee is great too, would definitely recommend the mini breakfast! It's reasonably priced as well.
