Chequer Lane by Jamie Oliver in Dublin

As regular customers I can say that Chequer Lane is super and never fails to deliver on food service and atmosphere. Luke and his team and the chefs are amazing. So we keep coming back ...thanks to Luke and Bianca in particular.

food was great, steak was cooked to perfection

The food was really delicious, as were the wines and my (decaf) espresso martini. Service was excellent, the servers are really nice and know what they are serving. What I thought was a bit weird, is that I got a dress code with my reservation (smart casual), but that there were people inside in training pants and with baseball caps on. I got dressed accordingly, but these people clearly did not. Why even bother to send a dress code to your guests, when you're not going to maintain it? 4/5 stars for not maintaining the dress code.

I had the Sunday roast, and my husband had the fish and chips! I have to say it was the best Sunday roast I've ever had!

Just of Temple Bar brilliant Late lunch for whole family. Pleasantly surprised by the fair pricing. Brilliant food.

Sometimes the expectations of a restaurant with a link to a famous chef are different than you expect. Certainly not bad, but we expected a little more. Staff certainly very friendly. Our experience was that the main course was served very quickly after the appetizer.
