We had a great lunch at Chequer Lane and really enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent - especially the baked scallops and crab toast. The Scotch egg was also very good, and everything felt fresh and well prepared. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with friendly and attentive service. A lovely place in the centre of Dublin for good food and a pint of Guinness. Definitely worth a visit - we would happily come back!

Fabulous food & excellent service!

I arrived at 9:06pm and the kitchen closes at 9pm. They were extremely kind in letting me eat and not makjng me feel rushed at all. The oysters were phenomenal. The prawn and crab linguine was great. The peach crumble was great. The wine selection was good. The prices for all were very reasonable.

We just had the scallops they were soooo good drinks were great!! Service was AMAZING!! Americans in Europe the service is always different that’s fine but it was what we were use to!! We liked that!
