As we were in Mullingar for a few days and in search of places offering beverages and light meals, we came across Chocolate Brown.
From the moment we entered the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Nothing was too much trouble and we were quickly seated and served. The coffees and toasted offerings were excellent and very satisfying.
This establishment is definitely a pit stop above all in Mullingar. Do visit and you won't be disappointed.

Disappointingly it was €3.80 for a teabag in a paper cup. There is no excuse for single use cups when sitting in a café.
The staff (Athlone) changed the awful music when I asked them to do that. They were courteous and had a customer focus. This is the first time to encounter such good manner in Athlone.
Absolute gem, located right in the heart of town - car parking near by.
Baby changing facilities are a unique bonus as not all cafes in mullingar have changing tables. If you have a baby look out for that before you sit down for food anywhere else.
Staff here are experienced and considerate, very friendly.
The cake selection is fantastic, with a mouthwatering display of freshly baked treats that make it hard to choose just one.
Whether you're popping in for a quick caffeine fix or planning a leisurely catch-up with friends, this café ticks all the boxes. Highly recommended!
