Great pub, very friendly staff and tasty food. I’ve been coming since they first opened and have always had an enjoyably experience. There is a great room in the back to host events. The espresso and pornstar martinis are not to be missed.

I was a bit surprised at how good the food was for a pub. I ordered the arancini and they were delicious.

Nestled within the charming confines of The Churchtown Stores is a culinary haven that captivates both the palate and the soul. This establishment, housed in a building rich with history as a former hardware shop, has been transformed into a gastronomic sanctuary that delights all the senses. Upon entering, one is immediately struck by the ambience - the gentle hum of music that envelops the space, creating an aura of tranquillity. The decor exudes a chic elegance, with plush seating that beckons you to sink in and unwind. Every corner of the restaurant gleams with cleanliness, a testament to the attention to detail that permeates every aspect of the dining experience. During my brief visit for lunch, I was treated to a culinary spectacle that left me yearning for more. The menu boasts a tantalising array of dishes that cater to a variety of tastes, promising a feast for both the adventurous and the traditional diner. I am already planning my return with friends, eager to savour more of the delectable offerings alongside a few refreshing pints. The staff at The Churchtown Stores are the true gems of this dining destination. The bar staff exude warmth and hospitality, while the floor staff go above and beyond to ensure that every guest's needs are met with grace and efficiency. Their dedication to providing impeccable service only enhances the overall dining experience. While parking may be limited, I wholeheartedly recommend taking a taxi to this culinary oasis. The journey is well worth it, as The Churchtown Stores offers an unforgettable dining experience that lingers in the memory long after the last bite has been savoured.

We booked the back area of churchtown stores for pur Day 2 of our wedding. About 60/70 people. It was the perfect spot as there was plenty of room, plenty of seating and perfect view of the sports on the big screen. We had access to our own private bar, the staff were fantastic, really helpful and really friendly. We were able to pre-order some platters for food which worked perfectly. The platters were huge and really good value. Everyone loved the food and the venue and I would highly recommend booking here again. I've eaten here for dinner and drinks a number of times and service has always been on point.

Fish Shop

13/12/2024: Excellent seafood, friendly, helpful staff and a great atmosphere. I had the oysters, grilled John Dory & more oysers for dessert, washed down with a glass of Muscadet. Next time, must have the fish & chips (hake, haddock & plaice were on offer on the night I visited). The bowl of mussels looked delish too.
10/12/2024: Best fish and chips I've had in ages. Great starters and wine menu too. Update: they no longer offer the haddock crocquettas as take away, which is a shame. They are delish and travelled really well.
