We recently celebrated a 40th birthday party at Churchtown Stores, and it was absolutely fantastic! 🎉 The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a special occasion. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The drinks selection was top-notch, with a great variety of cocktails, beers, and wines to choose from. 🍹🍺🍷 The food was equally impressive – delicious and beautifully presented. If you’re looking for a great spot to host a party or just enjoy a night out, I highly recommend Churchtown Stores. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a really great local pub. The pub scene has changed so much recently but this one has it just about right. Good decor good atmosphere a very good clientele and a really good food service- essential now for a good pub experience. The pub is warm ,comfortable and has extremely friendly and efficient staff. The food is by Jack Rabbit and it’s different but very tasty and reasonably priced. Suitable for all generations. Well worth a visit.

Little Lane Restaurant

24/05/2025: Stopped in on a busy Saturday. Service was good not great but the piazza was excellent. Settled in on two pizzas a margarita and the Italian. We enjoyed both and had a few Slices left over. Also if you get a chance try the dough balls they are excellent
01/05/2025: Used to be my fav coffee place in Galway. However about a month ago, a member of staff threatened to smack me because I didn't "say anything" after she said thank you. I was alone with my daughter so I was keeping an eye on her and didn't notice the staff saying anything. Her colleague apologised for her, but I don't think threatening your customers is good service.

Lucky Tortoise Temple Bar

13/05/2025: I usually don’t write reviews online, but this place truly deserves one. I attended a sushi-making class here recently with some friends, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the instructors were knowledgeable, engaging and funny. The food was incredible too! Not just the sushi we made ourselves, but also the additional dishes that were served alongside, which complemented our rolls perfectly. I’d highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in Asian cuisine. I am already looking forward to coming back to try their regular menu as well. :)
