We came to visit Niall’s hometown and our experience at Clarke’s was so much more than we expected! The owners are the sweetest, very welcoming, and were more than happy to show us around the bar. Definitely a highlight of the trip and would 1000% recommend visiting!

We were there with our daughter, who is a huge Niall fan. When the team noticed this, a normal visit suddenly became something very special, which will remain in our memory forever. With an incredible amount of warmth we were given a personal tour. Kieran and his family took time for us, told us stories, explained many things and surprised us again and again. From the first moment we did not feel like tourists, but like friends who are very welcome. Another highlight for our daughter: her own Guinness tap course – with certificate. Her eyes have shone – and it is precisely such moments that one carries in one's heart forever. As parents, these moments are exactly what you want to keep forever. We didn't just visit a bar that afternoon. We met people, experienced warmth and felt a piece of this wonderful Irish soul. For one afternoon we were not just guests; we were a small part of this wonderful community. And that's what makes this place so special. We will never forget this afternoon. I can not begin to explain how amazing this bar was! As an Autistic person they took such good care of me and my friend. I had the most amazing couple of hours there, it was truly the most beautiful and wonderful experience. Especially if your also a fan of Niall Horan From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They knew I was a big fan of Niall Horan straight away ( I think jumper I was wearing gave it away😂) and they immediately took the time to show me and my friend around the whole bar and outdoor area. Sharing stories, encouraging us to take pictures and sign the guest book and make ourselves comfortable. They then played his music for me and set up karaoke for us. The owners said we could sing as loud and we wanted and turned the music up as loud as we wanted It was so lovely to see how much pride they have in Niall and his career and their excitement toward Niall’s fans. I’d absolutely recommend stopping in if you’re ever in Mullingar! It’s only a hour train from Dublin centre!! They also have a few bits of Niall Horan Merch!!

Excellent pub that caters for all ages and occasions. Staff are friendly and helpful, always curtious to everyone. Live music every weekend.

Such a nice place with an amazing people! I was touched by their kindness and hospitality. Thank you for giving a little tour and even putting a 1D songs even though I was only Niall fan in the building 🥹 Definitely would come back again if there would be any possibility!!
