My wife and I stopped in during our visit from the USA. We wanted to seek out a pub in Dublin with our last name - Clarke - in their name. Clarke City Arms is a local pub in the Stoneybatter neighborhood. James Joyce lived next door and included mentions in his novels about the pub. We really enjoyed it. The staff and local patrons were super friendly to us. They made sure that we were treated well. There are two food trucks on the property and an expansive bar area. Went back the next day while attending the Stoneybatter neighborhood festival. Loved it.
