Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge in Dublin

Dublin is nice and this Hotel is in a very very nice location.

Didn't stay.. but hotel looks modern . Food and drinks were great .. staff were also friendly

I went with my partner to stay in the Clayton Merrion road, for our anniversary (8th March). We are easy to please but were very disappointed: the staff at the breakfast room were so rude we left without eating and checked out of the hotel early. My partner said he couldn't sleep on the pillows, they were so ridiculously hard. We spent a lot of money in the hotel over the weekend, so we were very disappointed. The final insult was having to pay extra to park in the car park: 12 euro for an overnight stay - more than what you would pay for 24 hours in the Dundrum Shopping Centre! We won't be returning to the Clayton Hotel in Merrion.

I will say first that the front desk staff was incredibly helpful. We were able to check in very early on the day we arrived and that meant the world to us. The bed was very comfortable, and our room was spacious. The bathroom was a little confusing, but I’m not sure if that was because I was in a new country or what. My only complaint was the shower never got hot. We could take a hot bath, but not a hot shower… always lukewarm. That got a little old, but was ultimately not a major issue.

Clayton and Maldron hotels are the best in Ireland. Their hospitality is remarkable. In Clayton Hotel Ballsbrige, I met the floor manager Mr Alex and he was greatly supportive and extremely pleasant. The staff like Alex are the ones that keep the Clayton Hotels going forward and raise the reputation of the hotels. Great dinner and breakfast too at the restaurant. The hotel's hospitality team is top notch. 🥰
