Clayton Hotel Burlington Road in Dublin

The price gauging on food and drink is ridiculous €9 50 for bottle of Bulmers, €8 for pint of lager. €23 for bland tagliatelle pasta, €4.50 for a coke. I know its going on everywhere but this is a hotel chain and its not this expensive around the country. I great looking bar with about 15 tvs spread around but a dublin match on TV and can't put on commentary is a bit disappointing, would help to create an atmosphere. Bar didn't open til 3 and no residents bar at all. Rooms clean and tidy, very good shower, bed comfortable. €200 for a Sunday night just a little excessive. Buffet breakfast was nice, good selection, rashers overdone, OJ wasn't great.

Great location, Staff was very professional and available. The room was spacious, well designed and clean. Their breakfast was fantastic and also their bar and dinner services. Overall, I will continue to come here every time I’m in Dublin

It was my first time staying at a Clayton Hotel. From my rating, you'll see that I've allocated a score of 9-10 There was a few minor faults that I encountered on my stay. I'll begin first on positives, because writing negatives would be unfair based on my overall experience. Pricing for the stay was expensive, but as the proximity to our exhibition was good, I can overlook this. However, after paying this amount, being asked to pay €10 per day for tenants, is a negative. The appearance of the interior was excellent and spotless. Rooms were comfortable, clean and a good selection of tea's, coffee's made available. One small packet of biscuits looked inadequate, especially as I've a sweet tooth and enjoy my coffee in the morning. Two would be ideal. The room was secure and noise at a minimum. This ensured a good night's sleep. The food at the bar/restaurant was excellent, although pricy, but worth it. What I found from the staff is that they were professional and very polite. Always asking if everything was alright. The morning breakfast had a big selection of items available. Unfortunately, possibly because of the large attendance at the time, the food was cold. Some items were hot but the bacon and eggs, just too cold, and the other, just lukewarm. I wouldn't be of the complaining type, because the staff were brilliant, I just didn't bother saying anything and left them. Summing up, my stay was an enjoyable and comfortable one. I would certainly recommend the Clayton Burlington, and hopefully return in the not too distant future.

Good food. Amazed by how good the breakfast was. The dinner prices are pricey but if you can afford it, you should come here. It is a bit further away from town though. And you have to ask to access the gym. Apart from that, it is 99% good.

The hotel was very clean, staff were very welcoming in the hotel reception lobby, bar and restaurant. Cleaning staff in hotel room also verry good, if you needed anything reception did help very quickly, I forgot to bring a shower cap with me, there was none in the room, however when I phoned reception I had a shower cap delivered within 10 mins, great service, thank you

The breakfast was good, the location was excellent, and the bar downstairs was very lively.

Great value hotel walking distance to St. Stephen’s green and tons of good bars, restaurants nearby. Will stay again. Bed was very comfy too. Have stayed here multiple times. Staff always lovely too.

The hotel is fantastic, truly! Both the location and the facilities are excellent, especially the pub and the dining room with its breakfast, and of course, Samuel.

Great hotel, more for business Travellers. Rooms were well appointed. We had 2 twin beds and they were amazingly comfortable. Coffee, safe iron and ironing board.

5 stars for the service of the children in the lobby which was excellent. Regarding the reception I can't say that there was a very good communication.
