Cleaver East in Dublin

Cleaver East has been my friend groups go to place for all of our birthdays for the past 7 years. The bottomless brunch is incredible, quick service, great cocktails and great food. Decestated that it's closing due to the hotel renovations but hopefully it opens back up and we can continue to go forever more!

Our favourite restaurant in Dublin. So sad to it close. We eat again here on Sunday 3 august closing nite and had another amazing meal. Good luck to all your wonderful staff ,, it’s been a lovely 12 years of dining here. From max & Harry

En un viaje a Dublín probamos el aclamado restaurante Oliver Dunne en The Clarence Hotel. Encontramos la decoración única a su llegada - - un montón de cuchillos colgando de las paredes. Apreciamos cómo nuestro menú destacaba todos los orígenes y proveedores utilizados. Las variadas opciones disponibles hicieron que fuera un poco difícil de seleccionar, pero finalmente mi esposa eligió la gema para bebés, ensalada de pasta Cos & Fusilli y probé el Dubliner Vintage Cheddar y las croquetas de jamón extraídas y luego compartimos. Estuvimos de acuerdo en que ambos titulares fueron excelentes. Para nuestras entradas me decanté por los Pasteles de Pescado de Salmón Ahumado y Eglefino de Howarth Orgánico y ella optó por el Slow Roast Hereford Prime Grass Irish Fed Beef y compartimos... una vez más pensamos que ambos eran muy, muy buenos. La carne estaba tan tierna y sabrosa que decidimos que era un poco mejor. De postre los dos elegimos el Brownie de Chocolate Caliente que era tan bueno. La ubicación - - justo en el río Liffey y en un hotel tan encantador acaba de añadir a una noche memorable.

Our waiter Denis was so attentive, kept topping up our drinks , he was chatty without being interruptive very welcoming and professional

We had dinner with the family and were served by David, a charming Spanish guy who made us have a wonderful evening!

Cleaver East was the first restaurant we visited in Dublin, and it set the bar high. We came for the walk-in menu and ordered the 8 oz sirloin with fries and a Guinness – both steaks medium. They nailed it. The steak was cooked to perfection, the fries were crispy, and the sauce tied everything together beautifully. Great atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

5 star experience on my latest visit for bottomless brunch! Visited in 2023 and was so disappointed with the food but wow has it improved. Our lovely waiter Ray deserves a special mention! Can't wait to come back already!
