Cliff at Lyons in Celbridge

Fabulous spot. Beautiful grounds. Lovely outdoor tub and sauna. Meal was dissapointing and overpriced.

Fabulous place to stay, so relaxing. Food and Service all great and staff all very friendly, especially the mature lady (short hair) with glasses at the breakfast. Only downside, the noise at night in the room when there was someone moving around in the room upstairs. Stayed in the Mayors House.

Absolutely beautiful venue, whether it be for a special Sunday lunch or an event. The restaurant is seated by a waterfall which is so unusual and breathtaking. Staff were lovely and food was fab.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful family stay at Cliff at Lyons, where we stayed in one of the charming cottages. The accommodation was beautifully appointed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style, and provided a relaxing retreat for us all. The surroundings are simply stunning, with a unique atmosphere that feels both luxurious and warmly inviting. Our dining experience at Shackleton Mill Restaurant was truly exceptional. The food was outstanding, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavour, while the service was warm, attentive, and added to the overall sense of occasion. Breakfast each morning was equally impressive, with a great selection and quality that set us up perfectly for the day. Every member of staff we encountered was absolutely lovely, friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. The pantry goodies were a delightful and we grabbed some to take home and polished most of them off on our drive back to Cork. Overall, it was a truly memorable stay from start to finish, and we very much look forward to

We cycled along the canal to the Cliff at the Lyons Coffee shop, the Pantry. Excellent location, luv their Brownie and Biscoff shortbread...good coffee, great vibes in a lovely location. Top tip, there is a shelter behind the Cafe if the weather is an issue and no room inside.

Fantastic and enjoyable experience, food is delicious, atmosphere fantastic. Iconic location and fantastic architecture🙌

We had a dinner at their restaurant, the food was amazing.

Room was fab, spent hours at the spa, and staff were super friendly and attentive. The only slight let down was the dinner in the Mill. The food was grand, my main was a bit salty, but felt really expensive for what it was.

Wanted to take a moment to share what a fantastic stay we had at Cliff at Lyons. We’ve been very fortunate to stay at Ritz Carlton’s and equivalents all over the place and this was right up there with the best of them. Rarely does a place exceed their marketing pictures, but that was the case at Cliff at Lyons. Seafood platter at the restaurant was reasonable, fresh and delicious. We had a bit of a mix up with the room we thought we booked, and without getting into details, they addressed the issue far beyond our expectations. It’s a bit of a drive from Dublin but absolutely worth it. Cheers from Canada.

Went few times, really nice place to spend a day (did not stay at the Hotel). They have good food and bread Highly recommended
