Clonliffe House in Dublin

09/01/2026: Soild local steakhouse, I was a little disappointed not to see bearnaise sauce on the options of sauces. Starters were OK but the mains were very good. Steaks were cooked as ordered with a nice char on the outside. I did however order an espresso at the end and it came out in and espresso cup looking like it an Americano (black watery coffee) and it had been burnt. Would I go back, yes! Could they improve some stuff, yes

23/12/2025: I was on my way home, lucked out and stopped at JD, first time visiting. I tried their sirloin medium rare and, long story short, they raised the bar for what a steak should taste like: simply amazing!!! The staff was great and the place was carefully decorated and cozy. I can't wait to go there again.
