04/06/2026: We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience at the restaurant Elephant & Castle, The Mason in Dublin, which marked both the beginning and the end of our trip through Ireland – making it even more special for us. From the very beginning, the reservation process was completely straightforward and very accommodating, leaving us with an excellent first impression. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and received consistently attentive and friendly service throughout both of our visits. A special mention goes to our waiter Vlad, whose professional yet genuinely warm manner really stood out. It was especially lovely that we were immediately recognized on our second visit, which added a very personal touch to the experience. The food was consistently excellent – fresh, flavorful, and carefully prepared. We were particularly impressed by how well gluten-free requirements were handled. The staff regularly checked in with us to make sure everything was suitable and that we were comfortable, which we greatly appreciated and found very considerate. Even small details were thoughtfully taken care of, such as automatically offering gluten-free bread with the soup – a great example of genuine hospitality. A small misunderstanding regarding a whiskey order was resolved immediately and without any hassle, further highlighting the excellent level of service. In addition, the restaurant offers a wide and well-curated selection of drinks. Overall, this is a fantastic restaurant with outstanding service, excellent food, and a welcoming atmosphere that we would happily return to and highly recommend without hesitation.
