19/11/2025: Definitely for those with a sweet tooth! Ube latte is amazing and like a warm hug on a cold day which is what everyone needs this week! The colour is just beautiful too. Hard not to smile when I visit. Staff are so lovely too.

The moment you walk in, you’re hit with that amazing smell of fresh baking and greeted by the warmest, kindest staff you’ll ever meet. There’s a real sense of love and pride in everything they do from the presentation of their cakes to the way they treat every customer like family. Their cupcakes and desserts are on another level — soft, rich, beautifully decorated, and full of real flavour (not that overly sweet, artificial taste you find elsewhere). You can tell everything is baked fresh with care and creativity. The coffee is consistently spot-on, and the whole vibe of the place is calm, stylish, and full of positive energy. Whether you’re ordering a wedding cake, grabbing a treat to go, or just sitting in for a peaceful coffee break, Cupcakes and Counting delivers every single time. It’s not just a café — it’s an experience. A perfect mix of passion, artistry, and heart. If you’re in Swords or even anywhere near Dublin, this place is absolutely worth the trip. Easily one of the best bakeries in Ireland.
