Con's in Mullingar

Visited again. It was ok. However the barmen chewing gum and the weak menu put us off.

Great spot in the heart of Mullingar! Con’s Bar has that perfect traditional pub atmosphere warm, welcoming, and full of character. The staff were friendly and quick to serve even when it got busy, and the pint of Guinness and Bulmers was spot on. Loved the cozy, old-school interior with plenty of character; it feels like a proper local rather than a tourist trap. We popped in for a casual drink and ended up staying much longer than planned, chatting with locals and enjoying the relaxed vibe. There was a great mix of ages in, which added to the friendly atmosphere. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that it got a bit crowded on the night we visited and there was a short wait at the bar, but that’s a testament to how popular the place is. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Mullingar looking for an authentic Irish pub experience. Will be back next time I’m in town!

Yes the place was nice.food was good.not a cheap place but good.got a glass of house white wine it was very sour bottle was left uncapped to long.and dont advertise yous can make any cocktail yous carnt when yous dont have the ingredients to do so.but apart from that yea good spot.

Food was so delicious the mushroom risotto was so delectable my goodness I enjoyed it! Paired with the sticky toffee pudding !

Beautiful food best in mullingar by a mile

Went here for dinner on Saturday evening, great service, all the staff were really friendly. Got the Con Man Burger and the chicken burger, both good but the Con Man Burger was definitely better. Good atmosphere inside, lively but still able to have a conversation at your own table.

Excellent fish and chips! Add the garlic Mayo for both the chips and the Fish lol!
