We had a lovely meal here and the food was really nice. The atmosphere wasn’t particularly lively, there was music playing but it was quite hard to hear, so the overall vibe felt a little quiet. However, our waitress completely made the experience for us. She was really friendly, made jokes, and took the time to recommend dishes, which we really appreciated. Her great attitude and service made the evening much more enjoyable. Overall, lovely food and very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend, thank you!

When you walk through the doors of Corfu, you expect hearty, homey Greek food... and Corfu doesn't disappoint. The restaurant, right in the heart of Temple Bar, has a cozy yet unpretentious vibe, with warm lighting, pale walls, and music that welcomes you without frills. It's not huge, so booking is a good idea, but once you've done that, the rest runs smoothly, like a well-planned evening with friends.
There were two of us, and the initial impression was that of entering a place where the cuisine speaks for itself: quality ingredients, classic dishes, and distinct flavors. We started with some meze to share, because, as everyone knows, when you go to a Greek restaurant, you have to try a little bit of everything. Fresh tzatziki, silky hummus, and grilled eggplant that doesn't hide behind anything: authentic, with that Mediterranean character that takes you straight to seaside tavernas without leaving Dublin.
The main courses are no exception. The moussaka—a timeless classic—was rich and beautifully layered, with the béchamel sauce golden to perfection and the ragù flavorful but not heavy. The souvlaki had that air of perfectly grilled meats, juicy and accompanied by simple but well-balanced sides, confirming the idea of a cuisine that focuses on substance.
The portions were generous—absolutely in line with expectations for Greek cuisine—and the wait was reasonable: it wasn't a quick affair, but it wasn't a test of patience either. The service contributed to the evening's rhythm with genuine kindness and recommendations for wine and dishes, without putting on a show but with that Mediterranean warmth that makes you feel at home.
The atmosphere is welcoming and unpretentious: a balance of Greek tradition and urban practicality that pairs well with the cuisine, and the impression that remains is that of a place you'll gladly return to, perhaps with friends or as a couple, for a meal that leaves you satisfied without breaking the bank.
In short, Corfu is one of those restaurants that works well for a casual yet refined occasion: no gimmicks, dishes that speak for themselves, and a convivial atmosphere that works. Perfect for those craving authentic Greek cuisine, with recognizable flavors and that familiar touch that makes you think about next time while you're still finishing dessert.

After reading some of the reviews I think people must have gone to a completely different restaurant!! The food was excellent, the wine and Raki choice was excellent, I mean, I had proper Cretan Tsikoudia and my partner a lovely Tsipouro, hard to find outside of Greece. On top of all that, Niki was the best host and server ever, engaging, helpful, funny and just brilliant!
Thank you for a wonderful evening, food and drink.xx

We enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal here this evening. We walked in off the street as it wasn't busy and was also early (about 6pm on a wet Wednesday). Served by a happy, friendly, knowledgeable young lady called Niki who never stopped working and was very attentive - bringing a fresh carafe of water when she saw ours was empty. My partner and I shared a tzatziki and some olives that came with warm pitta to start. I then had the fish of the day which was a beautiful piece of grilled salmon with vegetables (peppers and courgettes) and I chose homemade chips instead of the mash potato which my partner had with his stifado. He said his beef was tender and the sauce delicious. For dessert he chose the special of red velvet cake and I had the Galaktoboureko which is a kind of creamy custard with a light lemony flavour in a kind of filo dough type pastry. This came with a scoop of chocolate ice cream. Both were very tasty. This meal was accompanied by a nice bottle of Greek red and a shot each of Tsipouro (similar to Italian Grappa) and Tsikoudia (raki from Crete).
Our plates were all empty and our bellies full. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this restaurant. Poli nostimo!

The restaurant serves good quality Greek cuisine.
Exceptional falafel, and the mixed gyros served on skewers are curious and unique, perhaps just not too generous.
Soft and succulent pita bread.
Friendly and attentive service.
Excellent value for money for Dublin: we didn't drink alcohol and ordered one dish each.

The service here has been consistently good over several years- friendly, welcoming, helpful, efficient. The menu appears to have been scaled back - perhaps just for the Xmas season - and the food is still tasty. Decent selection of wines too. Have been several times in last few years and would definitely come back again. Doesn't look much from outside and might not be crowded, but on a par with many more popular spots
