Food was well cooked, well presented and came respectably quick. Staff were attentive, even when it was busy. The benches are very straight, so maybe some would get uncomfortable after an extended period - but food, service and atmosphere are well worth a visit

Lovely little village pub. Be warned though it's a busy intersection and there are lots of roadworks in the centre at the moment. We got lucky with a road carpark 5 minutes down the road so no charge after 5pm. Went through the wrong door and it was heaving with Friday night locals , having a good time. Made our way to the food side. Nice music, not too loud abd served immediately. My husband had a lovely roast beef and I had a yummy beetroot and goats cheese salad. I asked for a side of bacon. No problem! It was a starter and it was huge. One of the tastiest salads I've had for a long time. Well done abd highly recommend

We went as a group of 6, 3 adults and 3 kids to come get food and is was absolutely delicious. Food: 10/10 Staff: 10/10 Overall: SUPER We will return again sometime soon. Thank you.

I’ve had the pleasure of DJing at Courtney’s Pub in Lucan twice now — once for a 50th birthday and previously for another celebration — and both nights were fantastic. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which makes a big difference when you’re setting up for an event. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for special occasions, and the guests always seem to have a great time. Highly recommend Courtney’s for anyone planning a celebration in the Lucan area!

Came here for family nostalgia. We came on a Sunday and it was very quiet. I think we were the only ones there at lunch time. My son got the kids 9” pizza, I got the Sunday roast and my stepdaughter got a chicken sandwich. The highlight of the meal was the garlic aioli that came with the fries/chips. The roast was very dry and could have used a lot of seasoning. I am never one to salt my food after it’s been cooked but this needed it. My son’s pizza tasted like a frozen pizza. But service was good as was the atmosphere.

Went in for a family dine out. Everything there went way above expectations - the service, and the food especially. Had a great time.

Nice but, just stayed to watch the rugby 🏉 game but food looked great that other customers got.
