The experience was fantastic; people are really friendly there. The service was excellent. The customers are mostly locals. The atmosphere was great. I enjoy visiting this Irish bar.

Popped in here on way back to East Wall AirBnb and was blown away by the comraderie and joy. Ray Dolan ("... and the legend continues") played lounge versions of "Country Roads" and "Amore" for a crowd spanning generations. Whiskey was 5€. Fantastic vibe. Preferred to Temple Bar.

Great pub, next door to one of the best Italian restaurants in North Dublin and they allow buy ins. The manager Chris is a great guy and will ensure you have a great night. Locals are true Dubs which means a thousand welcomes. Best pub in the area

St Patrick's Sunday afternoon. Liverpool v Man United in the FA Cup! Utd stole it from Liverpool in extra time. Brilliant craic and atmosphere. My new local.

The Old Stand

02/11/2024: Went there for the food shown in other reviews during lunch time. They don't serve the big traditional dishes anymore and switched to just a sandwich menu. We were a little disappointed because that was just explained after we asked them a second time.
