Dada in Dublin

Dada is a gem in the middle of Dublin and a lovely place for lunch with friends. We enjoyed the Christmas set menu with a platter of delicious dips and starters to share followed by a good choice of mains and lovely apple crumble for dessert. As a vegetarian I love restaurants offering tasty vegetable options as Dada does. It is a friendly and welcoming place too and I highly recommend it.

Almorzamos ayer para nuestra fiesta de Navidad. Éramos 36, pero el personal era muy amable y rápido. Los entrantes compartidos eran deliciosos. Pedí pollo para mi red y se separó tan fácilmente y tenía tantos sabores deliciosos. El postre era una porción perfecta para terminar. Definitivamente volveré.

We dined at Dada Restaurant yesterday and were offered the Christmas set menu. When we asked if we could order à la carte instead, we didn’t receive a clear answer, so we decided to go with the set menu. The starters were a highlight—a sharing platter featuring a variety of dishes from their menu, which was both generous and delicious. For mains, we opted for the tagine, and it didn’t disappoint—flavorful and well-prepared. However, for dessert, we weren’t given a choice and were served the chef’s selection, which I personally didn’t enjoy as much. While the food was plentiful and mostly enjoyable, the table provided for two people felt uncomfortably small for all the dishes. It was a bit of a squeeze, which detracted slightly from the overall experience.

Spectacular and first class experience! Dino was so hospitable and welcoming. The flavours were incredible in every bite. Every detail from starters, to mains to sides were excellent. Olives, the tagine, the potatoes were all great. I eat all over the world and this place stands among the best. Highly recommended!

came here twice for two friends birthday dinner and had such a lovely experience - 100% recommend for celebrations and dinners. It’s a beautiful atmosphere and setting, with comfortable seating. The staff are very warm and friendly and helpful. And the food here is exceptional - very delicious.

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to write a review! Over the past 2 years since moving nearby, I have been to Dada countless times. I have never once been disappointed. From the warm welcome you receive on arrival, to the incredible staff that go above & beyond, to the fantastic food, every experience I have had has been amazing. I recently visited for a friend’s birthday party. I want to thank our waitress Rajaa - she was so friendly, attentive and knowledgable about the menu. We had a brilliant meal and at the end, the staff brought out some delicious baklava & sang happy birthday. So much fun! I have honestly tried almost everything on the menu, but some of my favourites are: Moroccan dips (starter), kofta kebab (starter), mixed grill (main), merguez sausage couscous (main), lamb tagine (main - both carrot & prune types), baklava (obviously!!!!) and the pomegranate lemonade. They also serve some amazing teas. Dada is so deserving of all the praise. The BEST restaurant in Dublin city - I already can’t wait to come back again!!! Amanda
