Very large pub/restaurant with wide range of food and drinks. Very good efficient staff who make every customer welcome. Guinness as good as it gets. Off the main tourist drag, so less crowded and commercial.

It was one of the best meals I've ever had in my life, was it because of the location of the hall? the waiters came after many calls, other tables were also called many times, otherwise everything was perfect thank you

We had our work Christmas party here over the weekend and we cannot speak highly enough about it. The table we were given accommodated our whole group, the food came out on time and was delicious and more than enough, my gluten free plate was amazing and had lots of options for me, the atmosphere was lovely, the staff were so attentive - everyone was complimentary of how great a venue it was. Thank you! 👏

The staff in Dakota always makes me feel special. So friendly but never intruding. It’s really close to work and I go there often for a drink or two, the interior is cozy and full of character. Highly recommend their nachos

Absolutely amazing night out with work. Place was incredible! Drinks and food was out of this world! Incredible cocktails! Even the lad in the toilets with aftershaves and deodorants etc was curious and professional! Over all an incredible experience. Just one thing though, the bar manager or head bar man on the night was a joke. Absolutely out of his depth. Ye seriously need to do your bar staff a favour and get someone else into the position who knows what they're doing.

23/10/2024: Went to Hillbillys yesterday 'Rathmines ' for the first time, ordered a dinner box for takeaway, the girl who took my order was very friendly and helpful when I asked her for particular pieces of chicken, I could see that the man doing the cooking was quick and efficient, the only way knock back was the gravy ,as a regular in older established chicken franchises, Hillbillys gravy was a disappointment, their gravy was much too thick and the taste did not reflect the wonderful taste of the chicken and flavoured coating, gravy has to be thick but it also has to be able to flow ,the consistency of this gravy was unfortunately like cement, the dinner box was excellent, staff were really pleasant, get the gravy right, consistency and more flavour and this place will be a winner, John
