Damascus Gate in Dublin

The ambience and service were excellent, but some dishes had a noticeable smoky flavor. Additionally, the prices are on the higher side compared to similar places.

This has become one my favourites in Dublin. The staff is so welcoming and friendly and will give you tips and recommendations on what to order. The food is absolutely delicious and packed with flavour - you need to have one of the mezze sharing platters! It's a beautiful restaurant, too, with fitting decorations and a lovely atmosphere. I'll definitely come back again!

The restaurant itself is cozy and inviting. The staff are very friendly, polite, and happy to provide recommendations. Loved getting advised on what was good/what we should try! We love coming here - the sharing plates are delicious along with the many sides and mains available. We’ll definitely be back!

Visiting Dublin and decided to try this restaurant based on TA reviews. I really enjoyed my visit the food is very good and the staff helpful and friendly.

Delicious food and super charming atmosphere. Barbara made us feel very comfortable and got us everything we needed and did so with a smile. I love that they had authentic music. Lots of art and gorgeous, colorful, mosaic, chandeliers, and tiles. We had a Mezza sampler, wings, pita, and meatballs. Everything was delicious. A wonderful little experience away from the touristy areas of Dublin.
