Excellent food and very kind waiters

Great place to dine, food was amazing. Went with a large group. Must try their lamb dishes! They could make some improvements especially regarding the serving size of their sharing platters and what they include in it and the gap there was between serving starters and mains

Went there for my sisters wedding, one of my favourite restaurants I've ever been to. It was a small wedding so it was just the church and straight to the restaurant, it was quite an important for it to be nice, and it really was. It was a couple months ago but I've been dreaming of an occasion to go back for, the food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, as well as a beautiful atmosphere, seriously wanted to steal the lampshades. It was so nice and cosy and everything about it was amazing.

Authentic & DELICIOUS!!! Best Arabic food I have had in Dublin. Loved the sharing platters and the ambiance. I will definitely be coming back!

We first ate at Damascus Gate two years ago, and we ate here three days in a row- it’s that good. The fatoush salad is heavenly- with fresh mint and oh so many flavors. The hummus is incredibly creamy, served with pomegranate seeds. And the baba ganoush- oh the baba is soooo good. When we returned to Dublin we were delighted to find it exactly the same- especially the proprietor. He is so kind, welcoming, and joyful. As he says, sharing is caring- and everything at Damascus is prepared and served with care.
