Took our daughter there for a 21st birthday treat. Our 2nd visit but first overnight stay. She has additional needs and was made to feel like a princess. Had scones and coffee/tea in the afternoon, while we waited for the rest of our party. Pre dinner drinks by the fire. We had a very good meal and returned to the bar area where we sat and drank until bedtime. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. I had the full irish, daughter had pancakes with lots of fruit and honey. I also had melon and was too stuffed for breakfast scones.
Our daughter was able to get upstairs with help but had to come down on her bottom, so if you can't manage stairs be aware.
Overall, a very good experience, one we enjoyed immensely.
Been dying to get here, and I wasn't disappointed. Sheila and the whole team we're so welcoming. From tea, scones and pancakes on arrival in front of the fire to a glorious room with a 4 poster bed. The food was exceptional, can't wait to go back.
I'll be back 😉
