Great place for a carvery lunch. Tons of space, loads of parking, old school grub and plenty of it. Nice staff, good service and value for money. This place has improved in recent years.

Been here heaps of different times, always great food, service and a very cozy atmosphere. Personally love the burgers, steaks and battered garlic mushrooms that they serve but can never go wrong with the carvery. Will always go back if given the chance.

Food delicious got the carvery. However the old lad you’ve to pay for the food with was a cranky miserable git. He looked like he was forced to do his job at gun point. Bit of a mood killer that 😂

D'Arcy McGee's offers a peaceful oasis with ample parking just outside. The attentive staff provide efficient service, ensuring a smooth dining experience. I commenced my meal with a delightful serving of homemade leek and potato soup alongside a fresh roll, which truly hit the spot. For the main course, I opted for the prime roast rib of beef accompanied by all the traditional trimmings. The potatoes were expertly cooked, with both the roasties and mash reaching perfection. However, I must mention a couple of drawbacks from my overall experience. The lack of thick gravy was noticeable, detracting slightly from the dish. Additionally, the beef, while tender, leaned towards the dry side, warranting a touch of moisture. It was also surprising to learn that the restaurant sources beef not exclusive to Ireland but from across the broader EU region, which may disappoint those seeking a more local or authentic Irish dining experience, particularly considering the price point. Overall, D'Arcy McGee's offers a cosy atmosphere, attentive service, and well-prepared dishes.💯

Buskers On The Ball

29/10/2024: Lovely bar just near the temple bar hotel .., Service was quite slow but the drinks were good when you got them especially the cocktails. Like music every day we went it which was brilliant .There’s another bit to it downstairs with loads of pub games like air hockey , darts ect which was a good way to break up the day. I would return if I ever visit Dublin again
26/10/2024: Very good live music patrons singing dancing knee slapping a great time. Didn't try the food.
