The Full Irish is exactly what you’d hope for: crispy bacon, proper sausages, perfectly cooked eggs, and all the extras that make it a real treat. Then there’s Mel, who honestly ties the whole experience together. Friendly, attentive, and quick on her feet, she keeps everything running smoothly without ever making you feel rushed. It’s the kind of service that makes you want to come back—not over the top, just genuinely warm and efficient. The breakfast tray is a standout if you’re hungry—it’s a serious plate of food and great value for what you get. Even the smaller options like scrambled eggs or a breakfast roll are done with the same care. And if you stick around for lunch, the menu keeps that same standard going, with solid classics like burgers, wraps, and fish & chips. Overall, Dave’s Diner is exactly what a local spot should be: great food, good portions, fair prices, and even better people behind it. Super old fashioned greasy spoon trucker/biker/family diner …. No fuss … super breakfasts with huge portions for the ‘hungrier’ animal …. Lashings of tea and toast ….,, a big hit with families with hungry kids …. Lisa with her face full of smiles and audible laughter coming from the kitchen …. Definitely worth a repeat visit

Dave's Diner was a great stop while traveling from Dublin to Belfast. A local at the airport recommended it to us, and I’m really glad we took the advice and pulled over for breakfast. Coming from the States, I ordered the breakfast wrap, and it was the perfect way to start the trip. It was super filling, packed with flavor, and exactly what you want when you’re starting a long day of travel. The food came out quickly and everything tasted fresh and well made. The service was also great. Our server was very friendly, always smiling, and happy to help answer any questions we had about the menu and the area. It gave the whole place a really welcoming, local feel. Overall, this is a great diner-style stop if you’re traveling through the area and looking for a solid breakfast. I’d definitely recommend it and would stop back in again if I’m ever passing through Julianstown in the future.

The breakfast is fantastic value. The quality of ingredients are very good and it's really quite tasty. Full of work people, you know it's a good place to eat.

Don't expect glamour if you're going here, but a good hearty breakfast will be served by an attentive waitress!
