Came to grub some beer at 3:30 pm on Tuesday (they work 'till 4 pm) . The lady looked at me as I came to her house, asked if I do well and said that they going to close soon. Amazing place

The cafe is underrated - particularly nice homemade sandwiches they should be proud of (they are bizarrely good tbh) also do a coffee and staff (man and woman) are friendly and kind to deal with.

Legendary Chinese&Thai Take away

21/04/2026: I don't normally order Chinese as it can be hit and miss but it was midnight and our choices were limited so took a chance on Ledgendary and the food was AMAZING!!!! Everything was fresh full of flavour and NOT greasy!! The crab claws were a standout a generous portion (about five), packed with delicious meat, and crunchy fried onions. The aromatic duck with pancakes was divine perfectly cooked (not fatty at all), the plum sauce was so rich and yummy it came with really fresh, crunchy carrots, cucumber, and celery. The egg fried rice was spot on, and the sweet and sour sauce was full of flavour not overly sugary like some places. As someone who doesn’t normally choose Chinese food, I was genuinely impressed. Everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavour. I’ll definitely be ordering again — highly recommend!

12/09/2025: We're starting to order from Base more and more these days. The service is always great, friendly staff and the orders are super quick. On a quiet evening my little one got to watch her pizza being made and she loved it. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the pizza and chicken sides. I never feel super thirsty like other pizza make me feel. Base tastes like good quality pizza dn would deffo recommend 💯
