Been in twice since it reopened. Staff are lovely and can't do enough for you. They don't do food at the moment so left the star rating blank. Not sure whats happening but the Guinness is awful. First visit I could only managed two pints of Guinness before going onto larger. These pint was not nice at all.
Second visit with a mate, we had 3 pints of Guinness and again they were bad. It's a shame as the staff are great, the pub been done up and looks great. I will not be back till I see some reviews that the Guinness has improved.
This brought me back to my early twenties. The bar has been closed for six or seven years and it’s great to see reopened.
It’s being refurbished and big money has been spent here.
I was immediately greeted by the manager and took a stool at the bar .
There’s some great whiskey that caught my eyes. All the red breasts and spots and a nice selection of lesser known brands. I sat there for a half and hour and the staff were busy doing this and that .
The bar itself is spotless and the front counter is gleaming with new taps. Lovely . All in all it was nice to go back and see how nice it is now and how well it’s being run .
