Wry expensive for the mini breakfast.

I've come to amend my review to 5 stars based on my two recent experiences here. Decided to give the place another chance because I wanted to believe they could improve. and they have improved massively. The full irish breakfast is amazing. Real quality bacon and pudding. Just delicious. The smoked salmon is fresh and their coffee is great as always. They have a lovely outdoor seating area which is perfect for this warmer weather. Beautiful atmosphere. The best change is the upgraded table service. We don't pay at the counter before we sit down anymore, we get a menu to the table, order there and pay after. It used to annoy me to be asked for a tip before sitting down and having a meal. Today I was happy to give a generous tip for the quality service and food. Well done to all your staff. I'll be happy to visit every weekend for breakfast.

Right place for enjoyment good food friendly people

The service and atmosphere at Douglas & Kaldi were great, and the coffee was delicious. However, the Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale were flavorless, with unfresh-tasting hollandaise. We suggest focusing on freshness: use fresh, traditionally poached eggs and make the hollandaise sauce fresh daily, discarding leftovers. Aim for a zesty, tangy flavor. This simple change could make a big difference. We wish the team all the best!

Food was nice. We got 2 breakfasts and tea. We asked for extra pot of hot water and they charged an extra €1 for it. Not impressed with that.

Food was great. Coffee was lovely and the staff were very efficient! Great option for brunch/lunch if you are in Dundrum.
