Douglas & Kaldi in Dublin

Ate here last Thursday. We were a group of five. We had breakfast baps, pizza, chips, tea and drinks. The queue and ordering process on entering was very slow and cramped. The restaurant was busy so most tables were full. The internal seating area is quite cramped too so there is little room to get in and out of seats. Not enough space between tables. The waiters at the tables were very pleasant but that and tea and pizza was the highlight unfortunately. Some of the drinks didn't arrive so we had to remind them. Pizza was fine, chips I'd say had been cooked a while as was the case for the pudding and egg on the breakfast baps. They were very poor. Overall the food was not good, atmosphere was not comfortable. Definitely won't be back. I feel the three rating is high but 2 felt low as the waiters were very good..

Lovely food. It's the First full Irish to beat me in a while

Horrendously overpriced! We visited for lunch on Sunday afternoon. Place was quiet enough. We both had eggs florentine, a large(not so) large wings and sweet potato fries. The eggs we not runny, a little over cooked which was disappointing, on a bed of fried spinach and a miniscule measure of sauce. No seasoning and just bland. The wings were shocking, absolutely scandalous to be honest. Little or no meat on them at all, 14 wings in a large portion for €18!! The sweet potato fries were perfect, honestly they're probably the best I've come across. €60 for lunch you would expect better quality, very weatherspoon vibes from the dishes. Guaranteed wings are not fresh. Unfortunately due to the 2 other dishes the rating is low. Staff were pleasant.

Very friendly spacious lovely food lovely service

I surprised the rating is so low here . I had the chance to be here . I like the food and coffee. I feel the staff was good and greeting,welcoming and serving us. Will definitely go back.

Lots of choice, lovely food but best of all the staff are professional, obliging and very friendly. I’ll be back.

A cashier/server there was very funny and friendly, which really made my day. It's the little things! That aside, the food was good, and service wasn't too slow.

The staff were exceptional, the food was delicious although initially I thought the portion looked small it was very filling.
