Downey's Bar in Dublin

Our favorite in the neighborhood. Very local, authentic and well priced. We like to go on weekends to listen to karaoke, the staff is very friendly, and we love the very friendly DJ. We haven't tried food, but they have varieties of beer and at a good price.

Downeys is a pub on the corner of the new Cabra Road and Newgrange Road, it has music at weekends. Very authentic and old school. The prices are reasonable and the bar staff are prompt, professional and polite. People tend to bring their own food in during the week when it’s not too busy. This place sells bottled Guinness which is plus.

Unique experience, not everybody's cup of tea, being going there for over 40 years, love ❤️ it. Been back, still love it, like a time warp.
