Very central pub much less crowded than the others where they serve you with kindness and care. Excellent beef stew. Good guiness

Lively late spot on Friday night, in the centre of city. Quick service from the bar, large selection of beers Standard city centre prices. Security on the door checking age on the younger looking punters.

Excellent welcome. The owner was a gentleman very welcoming. Food was amazing there chips where 5 🌟. And we even got proper mugs of tea . Highly recommend 👌

We wanted a drink and a small snack before our Book of Kells tour. We went outside of Trinity College and found the only place within eyesight that may have had food. We split toasty and fries. Food was excellent! Best fries I ever had and that is even comparing them to those we had in Belgium and Amsterdam. Beer selection was impressive. Service was excellent. Highly recommend

This one fitted the bill for an early dinner before meeting friends in a wet only pub. I was impressed by the 51st State and the seat was comfortable.
