Drunken Fish in Dublin

Popped into The Drunken Fish before a concert — the location is perfect for that. The vibe was fun and relaxed, and the staff were friendly. The kimchi jjigae was really good, warm and comforting. The fried chicken and bossam were grand — not bad, just not super memorable. Overall, a handy spot with a few tasty dishes. I’d go back before another gig.

We went to the drunken fish for a pre-gig meal. Enjoyed excellent service and food. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It was busy and the atmosphere was great. I’m glad we booked.

I usually place my orders by phone and pick them up. A couple of the dishes are decent, that is why we normally order them. but they often make mistakes with the orders. For example, I once ordered the kimchi soup with pork, but it came without any pork. The portion sizes are also inconsistent—one time, we ordered two soup dishes and the portions were about half the size of what we usually get. My boyfriend also received kimchi soup when he had actually ordered soondubu jigae(tofu soup with seafood). As we really don’t have many other korean options available in Dublin, i really hope they improve these points.

Always brilliant. Had many meals here over the years, never had any issues. Delicious Authentic Korean food. The latest lunch menu is great value and quality. Would recommend it any time. UPDATE 2025: I like this restaurant still, but the food quality consistency hasn’t been good recently. I’ve been getting mostly the same dishes regularly, and noticed the quality and even the recipe changing every time I eat here. For example, the latest dakgalbi I had here was very oily, lacked gochujang paste and garlic, and the rice was undercooked and hard to bite. The quantity of chicken has also significantly reduced. After complaining, they gave me a massive side portion of chicken, with the same problem (very oily and not flavourful as I remember it). With some improvements, this could be a great restaurant, but for now I’ll have to reduce the rating. Hope they can improve and be as good as in previous years.

Always a treat dining here. Been here for the barbecues, hotpots and other À la carte dishes. Everything tastes amazing here. Always back for my comfort food. ❤️

Drunken Fish is a nice restaurant to try Korean cuisine. Their unlimited Korean bbq is a must try. They got a variety of meat, seafood and vegetables. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Will definitely go there again!

Bar and Karaoke downstairs, dining upstairs. I go here frequently after work for a cheeky pint or with friends upstairs for kBBQ followed by karaoke! It's always nice alone or with friends. The staff are all super nice and willing to help.

Pedí el plato de bacalao y arroz. Muy agradable, buenos tamaños de porción y me dejó sintiendo muy lleno. Tomé cerveza de tigre. Me hizo feliz. La atmósfera podría haber sido mejor, más auténtica. El servicio podría haber sido más amable. Aunque apreciamos su sistema de zumbador como significa que el personal vino rápidamente. Pedí fideos tofu udon: muy agradable y lleno de verduras. Buen sabor. Podría haber sido un poco más cálido. Pedí el Bibimbap y estaba muy bueno, muy picante y sabroso, pero podría haber hecho con más salsa de soja. Acompañamiento de patatas fritas: buen sabor y porción decente. Encontré un chip verde extraño.

El lugar parecía sucio y hacía mucho frío 🥶. La comida estaba bien, el servicio abdominal estuvo bien hasta que se puso un poco más ocupado. Habíamos reservado hace semanas y en lugar de colocarnos en una buena mesa en la parte más cálida del restaurante, estábamos sentados en una mesa diminuta en Eve esquina de servicio ocupado.
