Been here several times but this is the first time I get around to reviewing it.
Excellent food and amazing flavours all around. The prices are so so reasonable for the food. The mains always come with some sides (it’s Korean food after all!). Second to none service and even though the restaurant has a “posh” ambiance, the vibe is super relaxed. Ideal place for a casual lunch or dinner or a gathering of friends over Korean Bbq( veg options available)
2024 update: Just as good but the service was a bit slow. We had the kimchi jiggae and fried chicken. Both were really good. The kimchi jiggae vegetarian option didn’t have many vegetables. Rice was super fluffy and well cooked

Excellent food in a cute setting. For K-BBQ they bring a hot plate to the table and you have get your own ingredients from a buffet. There’s a button on each table to call the servers, but they were a bit slow to respond.

We only saw from the inside how big the restaurant actually is. Super nice service, everything went very quickly (we were there at lunchtime). The food is excellent and super tasty!

The place is super cool but its understaffed and the smell of it is almost impossible to stay inside with all the smoke. We wouldn’t stop coughing. But the food was good and the price is okay. Dont order cocktails.

Drunken Fish is a must-visit spot in Dublin for anyone craving delicious and affordable Korean food. The menu offers a variety of flavorful options that are both satisfying and reasonably priced, making it a great choice for a casual meal.
The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. What sets this place apart is the constant stream of amazing K-pop music playing in the background, complemented by music videos on the screens; it adds an authentic and lively urban Korean vibe to the dining experience.
If you're looking for a place with great food, great prices, and great vibes, Drunken Fish is the spot. Highly recommend!

Slow service with no buzzer. Food was mid, although the portions were generous. No extractor fans at tables meant we were choked out of it by smoke/spices in the air from other tables.

The good:
Huge variety of kimchi, meats and vegetables to cook with on the BBQ - genuinely impressed by the variety.
The friendly irish waiter who took the time to explain what to do (our second Korean BBQ, but first here) and recommend a few combinations and soju
The friendly Filipino waitress who swapped out our grill plate and served some of our drinks
Plenty of space so you weren’t on top of each other
The set up of equipment- gas BBQ, scissors for slicing meat into small pieces for cooking, tongs, plates etc all well organised
The not so good
The South African waitress was less friendly
Most of the desserts weren’t chilled but actually still frozen
Lack of soft furnishings means it is *very* noisy; the wood floors and tables bounces sound so the large groups easily drowned out our conversation, and the open wide space between the bar downstairs and the restaurant upstairs means you get a front row seat at the karaoke concert below you… and yes they were bad singers.
About a third of the sauce bottles (for adding to BBQ) were empty and not topped up while we were there.
Asked for water several times, never got it
Location - IFSC on a Friday night in winter is very quiet and isolated
We would return but think the current price of €35pp is stretching a little high.
