Such a fun and special activity in Dublin! When I travel, I love doing things where I can have fun but also really learn about the heart and soul of the city, and this was absolute perfection. It had the ideal balance of literary history and the usual pub crawl fun. I learned a lot and met so many cool people both on the tour and in the bars themselves.
I come from a theatrical background, and I was super impressed by the actors’ talent and will be highly, highly recommending this tour to everyone I know who visits the city. Such great value for the cost, too. Thanks for giving me an Irish experience that I’ll never forget.

Attended this great event last night and can't recommend enough. Frank and Finbar are fabulous. The performed excerpts of plays and poems and stories with great charm and character. The pubs and sites on the tour are all well chosen and add to the atmosphere. Well worth the money and your evening too.

I went to Ireland a couple of months ago and did this pub tour. Even though I can’t drink yet, the tour was still super fun and engaging. The two hosts were great storytellers, and my dad even won the little trivia contest at the end. If you have a free night, I’d definitely recommend this tour! 🐈⬛🍺

Fantastic experience! Can highly recommend it. Frank was a great host, tour guide and performer! Most of us came as strangers and left as friends and continued talking about Ireland, literature and life!

Frank and Finnbar were excellent! And, most importantly, they have convinced me to read Ulysses. We even specifically went to Nora Barnacle's house when visiting Galway the next day, upon finding out about her from the tour. Thank you!

Lovely evening with great stories and music. We felt very welcome and hat lots of fun. What was great was that we also saw a part of Dublin we haven't yet visited and that we went to beautiful and fun pubs we probably wouldn't have found on our own.

We loved this wonderful evening of stories, songs and pub sociability. Colm is a terrific, very amusing raconteur and told stories about Oscar Wilde, Brendan Behan, Samuel Beckett, and James Joyce. And John's singing and guitar playing were delightful. There was a literary quiz at the end and I am inordinately proud to have received the second prize award (small bottle of whiskey), which I will treasure and never drink. :)

Very accessible tour. You don't need any pre-existing literary knowledge to enjoy this - just a little curiosity and sense of fun. Frank and Finbarr are class acts. Both really funny and able to keep a large group together in a very natural way. The sketches offered little tasters of Irelands most famous writers. The pitstops in pubs near Grafton street are nice for foreign visitors. Seeing Trinity after hours was surprisingly lovely- I've walked through hundreds of times during the day but seeing it empty and quiet was so different.
If they ever want to add an additional tour that goes more indepth, sign me up!
