Dudley's in Dublin

I happened into this place at the corner, thirsty for a pint and hungry for a meal. It was perfect. All I knew of Irish beer was Guinness - I wanted to try something different. The bartender was super friendly, I wish I knew her name, she helped me pick a local lager by lining up a taste of three for me and I picked the Ambush. She was great. The fish and chips were the best. Comfortable inside not too crowded not too empty friendly good music but not overpowering and it was ideal. So I came back two days later and had exactly the same, the bartender remembered me welcoming back, I sat at a table and read my book, had my meal, drank my beer - a cold rainy but perfect night in Dublin.

Great pub with really tasty food. Good selection of draught beers

Went for a evening drink and traditional Irish music. Not too noisy and not touristy. A nice way to cap off a busy day.

Come home from Amsterdam for a few days. Went to Dudley’s (formally known as Bakers) a pub that I sent many of nights in the golden days. I was served by Annie- Lee, told me all about how the streets been doing in modern day. Hasn’t changed a bit, proud of that.

Recently went here for drink and food, music was great, service was bang on ,however the star of the show was gent that was working Saturday night called Kyle, he was good craic, hard working and honestly gave me the best service in bar that I’d had in years! 110% definitely will be back

Sound bar on the Guinness exp route so a reasonable smattering of tourists. Good bar staff and reasonable selection of beers, black stuff is good.

Perfect last night in Dublin. We were well taken care of. Music was a special treat to cap off a nice holiday.

I loved everything about the food, the nachos, the stew, and the overall food was delicious! Kudos to the chef! It's an amazing place to eat whatever you choose!
