A village institutuon with a great history behind it. Pints of stout always of top standard. Food has a great selection of pub classics. I must recommend the smash burger. Top pub.

Food mostly good. Sometimes a bit hit and miss.

I’m a Guinness drinker and the Guinness is spot on! They even have chilled pint glasses in the fridge. Had the Thai curry also. Super! No complaints

Great pub and great restaurant at the other door - our party got the steak sandwich, the chicken schnitzel, the duck stir fry, carbonara special, and the chicken Caesar salad. Everyond said their food was great and the pints of Guinness and Beamish were good as well

Me and my friend came here hungover looking for some good soakage and comfort food and were greatly satisfied. I had a lovely stew and my friend really enjoyed the noodles. We both treated ourselves to fab desserts, the crumble and sticky toffee, the sticky toffee was delish and could have been even nicer if it had been heated. Portion sizes were perfect too. They have a great choice honestly anything you want they’ll have it as they have all the staple dishes on the special’s list aswell. Great location too and very helpful staff, couldn’t recommend more :))
