Eagles House in Dublin

Really good space catering for small and larger groups. Good food and drink. We had a siblings get-together the other night and were well looked after by Rebecca and her colleagues.

By far, the best fish and chips in Sandycove. It helps that the fish is a fresh piece of Cod. It helps that the batter is nicely balanced in fallout and crisp without be chewy . The fact the the Cod was perfect - firm, moist, flavourful and flaky sets this dish apart. From the look of the other dish being served, I can’t wait to try more of the menu.

Stumbled across the Eagle while exploring Sandycove. Great place, the food was superb and good value. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Great pub with delicious grub and excellent service. Current mgmt/owners are doing things right. The previous low reviews I see are mostly for the old the eagle so it’s a pity that’s bringing the overall rating down 🦅 Dog friendly too 🐶

We absolutely LOVE the Eagle, so much so that we had our wedding celebrations here last week. The staff were unbelievable, they were attentive, kind, friendly and pulled off a 120 person wedding like experts. Special shoutout to Kamila who brought thoughtful touches to our day like personalized Guinness. She really was fantastic to work with and we are so appreciative. We loved our wedding and will love being able to go back to visit as the environment is always great along with food and drinks.

Excellent pub, food outstanding, very friendly staff particularly the Uruguayan lady. Best of all dogs are welcomed inside.

8 of us went for lunch. 3 of us got the burger on a recommendation. Just a burger and a portion of chips arrived, no side salad or anything, looked very poor and the burger was very average. 3 people got the lamb shank.one of them was good, the others very fatty. My mother had to ask for a steak knife it was so tough. People Rave about the food but we would never go back.
