Eagles House in Dublin

We booked for a group of 40 for a midweek celebration lunch and had a wonderful experience. The room, the food and the service were all superb. Rebecca and her team were a pleasure to deal with in the run up to the event and on the day itself.

The Eagle in Sandycove is a great spot — the food is really good, the atmosphere is lively, and it’s ideal for watching a match. Always a nice buzz around the place, and it’s one of those pubs that just gets it right. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Had a pint and a meal here today. Pint was grand. Staff were very nice and attentive. Meal (Lamb shank tagine) was very poor: meat was fatty and tough. My wife had the haddock & chips; same verdict: fish was greasy. Poor value for money.

Wonderful warm friendly atmosphere & all the staff especially Lorcan & Dani. Any time we've visited for a meal very tasty and reasonable food in a bright environment I'm happy to highly recommend the Eagle and for a social evening out too.

We had my daughter communion lunch here and the food was absolutely beautiful, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. They also put my Daughters name on the menus for our lunch I thought that was a lovely touch! I would highly recommend 👌

I love The Eagle but they have recently switched the wings hot sauce from what it had been previously to Frank's Hot Sauce which is a big disappointment. The wings had been delicious beforehand, now just like everywhere else unfortunately. Please switch back!

Had swim at forty foot,and well deserved lunch.

Held our daughters christening party here on Saturday and had an excellent experience. We had the gorgeous conservatory area for the day, great food and fantastic service. The staff did everything they could to make this a special day for us, both in the lead up and on the day. Would highly recommend.

I can't praise the Eagle enough. I recently had a party there to mark a bug birthday. From the time I initially inquired about booking the lovely glass room at the back, the staff members were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help me. Nothing was a problem for them. The food was extremely tasty, several divisions about the usual gastro pub fare. I'm vegan, as are several of my guests, and a few others are gluten-intolerant. We were all catered for unbelievably well. All of the staff, without exception, were so friendly and helpful. Many thanks to them all, including Eddie, Camilla, Rebecca and the very kind barman who managed to find a taxi that could bring home my sister-in-law, who uses a wheelchair. All of my friends and family members thoroughly enjoyed their evening at the Eagle. The buzz is great there. Don't hesitate to book it for a special event or just to go there for a lovely meal and evening out. Thanks, everyone.
