Love this shop, love the cafe upstairs. However, the quality has slid a bit over the years, but for God's sake, surely you can clean the windows. A beautiful view of the Easons clock and O Connell Street is ruined by filthy, grime embedded windows. Poor management, I would imagine

This iconic bookstore on O Connell Street has been a local feature for over 130 years, and a feature in my life since I can remember.
It offers books, its mainstay, but also newspapers, local and foreign, numerous magazines and comics.
Aside from that you can buy gifts, cards, and wrapping paper.
If you want art or office supplies you are covered here too.
Great store.

I loved the restaurant on the top floor, the soup of the day was wonderful and while the rap I got was not as tasty it was certainly much more filling

We visited this shop and bought some books and postcards. There is a great variety of materials: magazines , newspapers, games and puzzles, books and all kinds of presents.
The shopassistants are very kind and nice.
It's really worth to visit it.

Large spaces, a large selection not only of books, but also of household items. Interestingly.

Great bookstore. All the books are here, you don't need to buy anywhere else. It's a pity that so few people buy fiction these days...

A fantastic book store with a great selection of fiction and non-fiction titles. This is a really good place to find your next read and the staff are all super friendly and helpful.

Great bookstore with a cozy cafe upstairs. Great selection, at the bottom there are teenagers and children's books with school supplies including great fan items like Funko Pops etc. Huge selection of historical books about Ireland, fiction... simply everything.
