Eastern Balti in Monaghan

We had an incredible experience dining here tonight. From the moment we walked in the staff were so attentive and kind, and as others have said the complimentary starter was delicious! We ordered the chicken chat and samosas as starters, but the show stoppers were definitely the main courses. We ordered the sag panir (spinach and cheese) as well as the chicken bhuni with Peshawari naan and pilau rice. WOW. So much flavour, good portion sizes, great value. Top recommendations would be the sag panir and peshawari naan! Will definitely be back!

This restaurant was recommended to me and it didn't disappoint. It's a very busy restaurant on a Saturday night. Even though we had booked a table we still had to wait for about 15 to 20 mins. The staff are very pleasant and service was good once we got our table. The food was delicious and not overpriced. I had the king prawn jalfrezi and my wife had the tandoori butter chicken, both dishes were really good. I would highly recommend eating here but definitely book in advance and prepare to wait a while if it's a Saturday evening.
