Eastern Balti in Monaghan

This restaurant was recommended to me and it didn't disappoint. It's a very busy restaurant on a Saturday night. Even though we had booked a table we still had to wait for about 15 to 20 mins. The staff are very pleasant and service was good once we got our table. The food was delicious and not overpriced. I had the king prawn jalfrezi and my wife had the tandoori butter chicken, both dishes were really good. I would highly recommend eating here but definitely book in advance and prepare to wait a while if it's a Saturday evening.

What can I say except... Perfect! The meal was outstanding. Genuinely, embellished, no holds barred, honest and truthfully amazing food. The taste, the spice, the quality of ingredients... basically everything was incredible. The staff are the best. There when you need them, out of sight when you want to enjoy the meal without them. Knowledgeable, polite, and very helpful. I could not rate their entire team any higher. Finally, the setting is just beautiful. A tasteful, non-intrusive decor that welcomes and relaxes. Individual booths through smart glass dividers. Plenty of space. Airy and cool. This is a really great spot to relax and enjoy your meal. All in all, it's a ten out of ten. I recommend Eastern Balti House with gusto and enthusiasm. If you are in Monaghan you cannot go wrong and would be missing out not to stop in for the best Indian Meal you've had in Ireland. Incredible.

My mother and I had gone 6 days prior traveling in Northern Ireland with not a single good meal. We stumbled upon Eastern Balti while staying in Monaghan and couldn’t have been happier. The food was delicious, restaurant was extremely clean and the service was flawless. Thank you for the great meal and service!
