eathos (Central Baggot St) in Dublin

I tried the croissants and a pistachio and blueberry pie, which were exceptional and the prices were decent for the experience. I had the most delicious butter croissant of my life.

Coffee is good cause they use 3fe brew. I ordered a cappuccino and a pain au chocolate. Cappuccino was ok mostly because of the coffee but the froth wasn't dense like you would expect, but bubbly. At the counter, it wasn't much selection of sweet pastries. Few pain au chocolate and croissants. The pain au chocolate I felt was dry (maybe this is a healthier version with low butter?) and there was a very small amount of chocolate inside. The atmosphere was cold, very formal. Maybe being beside bank of ireland gets their customers from there? I didn't feel a warm atmosphere. Staff at the counter seemed detached emotionally while taking orders or serving. I didn't get lunch, only breakfast so cannot say anything about lunch.

A very good coffee as always, but food seems to be not so. The chef is taking a shortcut with my sandwich. Sandwich was meant to be toasted, but by the look of it, he decided to just hold under salamander, which is lazy and unprofessional. Also, the knife was dirty when he cut the sandwich, something orange was on the knife, I assume from previous order.
