Sushi 7/10. Rice to fish ratio is a bit off (too much rice). The avocado inside the eel avocado roll was cold which felt odd. Fish was fresh though. Noodles were also just ok, not super flavorful but my kids liked it

We discovered it by chance from one of their promoters in the Temple Bar area who was handing out 10% discount coupons. We took advantage of it, and it was a pleasant surprise! Really good, the staff very attentive and friendly. The price was fair, considering that dining in that area is very expensive.

A quiet place to enjoy excellent sushi. However, the staff is rather pushy. They frequently check to see if you've finished and take away your plates while you're still eating.

Very fresh ingredients and generous portions. The five-piece sashimi of tuna and salmon is delicious and well-cut. The price is in line with the location and the amount of food and drinks. Simple restaurant, clean facilities.

Cute little place and the food is amazing. It’s a bit hidden and if it wasn’t for a guy handing out coupons with a board nearby we would have totally missed it. When we went they didn’t have their beer license but they did have wine.

I had a most delectable and fulfilling meal here at Eatokyo. The service was friendly and my dish of teppanyaki style striploin beef with vegetables was hot and delicious. Top it all of with a teapot of hot green tea and you are rewarded with a content stomach and ready to go explore Dublin. My visit here occured August 9, 2026.

10/09/2026: One of the best Japanese/Chinese restaurants I've visited in a long time. The food was absolutely outstanding — fresh, full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. Every dish we ordered was excellent, making it difficult to pick a favourite. What really elevated the experience was the hospitality. The owner, Eric, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel genuinely valued as customers. His warmth and passion for the restaurant really shine through. Great food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service. If you're looking for a place you'll want to return to, this is it. Highly recommended.

25/07/2026: We obviously made a mistake not getting the ramen, but we just weren’t in the mood for it. The mains were ok, although a little salty. The starters were definitely the highlight though, the bang bang sweetcorn and Korean fried chicken were both delicious and worth going back for. Next time we’ll either stick to starters or try the ramen.
13/06/2026: Outstanding food, the best service I could have expected and a great vibe inside with great music choices (J Cole was playing) generous portions and almost all of the menu items had the Gluten Free option available which was fantastic to see and very rare. 10/10. Gotta try here!
