Eatzen in Ashbourne

Absolutely gorgeous restaurant. Food is really delicious and the staff are all so lovely. Very impressed and we can not wait to come back.

My second time eating at Eatzen and was impressed and will return. The food was lovely and a nice upmarket decour and ambience, with great service. Today we had a lunch menu that was very reasonably priced.

I discovered this hidden gem through Instagram, and it absolutely did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, the experience was incredible—starting with a warm greeting at the desk to the impeccable fine dining silver service. Everything was a solid 10/10. We kicked things off with the yuk sung, which was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted—perfectly charred meat that was simply delightful. The jumbo prawns wrapped in noodles were stunning and added a fantastic touch to the meal. The pacing between courses was just right, something missing from a lot of places lately. For our main dishes, we enjoyed the Peking beef and their special La Si Ji, both of which were phenomenal. We also ordered a side of Chinese vegetables and pork, which we spotted on Instagram and couldn’t resist. Overall, it was an absolutely sensational dining experience. We’ll definitely be returning again and again. If you’re looking for a must-try restaurant, look no further!

Very rushed experience. Unenjoyable which is a shame. Food is excellent but otherwise it was a fast/ rushed experience over all. No time between starter and main . Despite being asked is we would like to take a pause between. Resulted in leaving early. No time to sit and enjoy food drink and company

There are Chinese restaurants then there is eatzen. Amazing.

This was a family meet up for a Sunday lunch and although a couple of the family members had eaten here before, it was totally new to me. Walking through the door, I was taken by the modern and very pleasant decor. Being lunch time, the room was bright and airy and with a really pleasant ambience. The staff could not have been more pleasant and managed to give that perfect blend of quality service and friendliness. Everyone in the group chose from the Sunday lunch menu and everyone was very happy with their choice. I was particularly happy with my starter of crispy chicken in a Malaysian style. From the comments around the table, the food in Eatzen is consistently excellent. Looking forward to my next visit.

I just spotted a review from someone who obviously doesn’t have a clue about good food & professional service. Prefers to hide behind his keyboard, than actually speak to the staff or owner in person if there was a problem with his meal. We are regulars at Eatzen. We come back time & time again. The food is of the highest quality & the service is second to none. The owner Tim is always there & he is NOT looking at anyone eating their meal. He is there to oversee an issues that may arise, which never does as all the staff are highly competent. It is always a fantastic dinner experience.
