Eatzen in Ashbourne

Had a lovely vegetarian meal in Eatzen but I was disappointed that the early bird doesn't have any vegetarian choices. Also there were 4 vegetarian meals listed on the a la carte menu but they only had 2 of them. Couldn't fault the service or the food I got. I would just like a bigger choice for vegetarians.

Excellent food, Excellent service

Disappointed. We booked for 3 people but table was set for 2. Our waitress shouted like a military soldier at us and we didn’t understand what she was saying. Loud customers around us. Many kids there. The food came quick but the rice tasted like cinema popcorn and the duck like a well used pan. Then the lights went on, then off. Over all potential for 4 star at best. But it was disappointing me at 3.

I was a while getting to this.... We (party of 4) were here earlier this month and had a fabulous evening! I didn't book a booth at time of booking but we asked at very short notice and were accommodated, which I imagine wasn't easy. It made a big difference because its easier to hear eachother in the booths, which my mother appreciated! The food is unreal, everyone in our group was really impressed. Menu is broad, service excellant, food brilliant, atmosphere lively. We just love the place and we wouldn't go anywhere else! Thanks Team Eatzen for another fab night! Martina (14th March)

Food was absolutely amazing, Staff were brilliant, couldn't do enough for us.

Busy venue but everything was undercontrol. Very well looked after even with a full restaurant. Great to have vegan options to get a sit down meal with my girlfriend. Very tasty meat alternative with a soy based 'chicken'.

We had a family dinner here not so long ago.My brother in law booked the private dinning area.From start to finish it was top class.The food was mouth watering.I had the chicken satay screwers as a starter and the chicken Malay as a main.It was out of this world.Really couldn’t ask for better.Despite there being a big crowd,service was smooth and top class.I cannot recommend this place enough.By the way the pic does not do the flavour one bit of justice.Also the rice that it came with was perfect.

Flavours are top notch, seafood takes the spotlight with prawns to die for. Only downside was the cocktails, generic and boring.
