Eatzen in Ashbourne

I love this place I recommend it best staff very professional and helpful and got me a table very quickly not waiting around and it has a lift when you walk in very handy I love this restaurant

Great food and a lovely atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, and service was smooth overall. A bit on the pricey side, but the quality makes it worth it. Would definitely come back!

The mains were lovely but I got a starter of the specials , very small, not as described.And the pavlova was a small meringue nest with a bit of cream, not great by any stretch of the imagination. However the prawns we had were probably the best I have eaten in a very long time , yummy 😋

We had a wonderful dinner at Eatzen. We had a shrimp wrapped in kadaifi (a kind of noodle) and salt&chili shredded chicken as starters. As main we had Rendang and Chicken noodle. Both of them were great. I ate Rendang in Indonesia, not sure if it's popular in the Chinese cuisine or not but it was less spicy at Eatzen. We had dessert too, pavlova and profiteroles. Profiteroles are one of the best profiteroles of my life with light orange flavour in its chocolate sauce. Overall our dinner was delightful

Had a lovely vegetarian meal in Eatzen but I was disappointed that the early bird doesn't have any vegetarian choices. Also there were 4 vegetarian meals listed on the a la carte menu but they only had 2 of them. Couldn't fault the service or the food I got. I would just like a bigger choice for vegetarians.

Excellent food, Excellent service

Disappointed. We booked for 3 people but table was set for 2. Our waitress shouted like a military soldier at us and we didn’t understand what she was saying. Loud customers around us. Many kids there. The food came quick but the rice tasted like cinema popcorn and the duck like a well used pan. Then the lights went on, then off. Over all potential for 4 star at best. But it was disappointing me at 3.

I was a while getting to this.... We (party of 4) were here earlier this month and had a fabulous evening! I didn't book a booth at time of booking but we asked at very short notice and were accommodated, which I imagine wasn't easy. It made a big difference because its easier to hear eachother in the booths, which my mother appreciated! The food is unreal, everyone in our group was really impressed. Menu is broad, service excellant, food brilliant, atmosphere lively. We just love the place and we wouldn't go anywhere else! Thanks Team Eatzen for another fab night! Martina (14th March)
